I wasn't really sure what I was going to get with this pen, pictures were terrible and the description was basically 'old fountain pen' but for $14 I figured it was worth a shot ;).  It was pretty rough when I got it. First two pictures in the album are the seller's, I forgot to take my own 'before' pictures. The imprint, if there was one, was gone and the lower part of the cap was broken off at the cap band. Still, I am very happy with how it turned out! From what I gather (I don't know much about Carters) this is an early one? Can anyone tell me anything else about it?

Late 1920s I believe.  Nib alone worth well more than price.

Good buy!
Picked up a Carter's last week too and I'm in love with the nib. A bit of flex and a nice amount of feedback. Mine is celluloid which might be later but who knows.
