Hi everyone,

I picked this Waterman up earlier today and think I paid a decent price for it ($100), but I'm having trouble identifying the model. The barrel doesn't smell like hard rubber, so I'm assuming it's made out of celluloid and there isn't a stamp on the end of the barrel.

A late overlay, either 0594 or 0503. I often have to refresh on the difference. Nice pen. Here's a sterling 403. Or is it 494...

Let's add Engineer's pics inline by copying the BBC code from his album. Hit OPTIONS when in the pic. SHARE LINK. Then copy BBC Code

Thanks!

David, the original Waterman marked sac was still in the pen when I bought it. The sac was marked Waterman's 92, so the pen probably is not an 0594?

0594 or 0503. Not a 92-derived pen.

A quick update

Based on discussion over on the Facebook page, it seems like it is probably an 0503.

Looks to be based on a 52 - could it be a Continental overlay ? - Italy might be the prime suspect if it is.
