Got this Sheaffer Autograph Triumph (lever-filled) set in the mail today, looks like it may have been dipped or inked once, otherwise it is mint. I paid a bit more than the price stickers would suggest but still got a fantastic deal! I don't think I have ever seen one of these in such good condition before.

Beautiful set, with 14K clip and band. You got yourself a real nice set.  The pen may have lost its vacuum due to the age of the internal seals.

lever filler, likely needs a resac

I was wondering, is the lever marked 14K?

nice find

Thanks!

Yeah, the sac is likely bad, the lever still moves though. I won't be using it and don't intend to sell it (right away at least) so I'm going to leave it as is for now.

Lever is not marked 14k, just the clips, cap bands, nosecone and nib.

Spectacular set.  I have stickered post-war Sheaffers, and possibly a stickered 1950-51 Autograph, but yours has nice and imposing labels.

When home next week, i will shoot a couple stickered pens from that era.

That's a major score, no doubt.
