A Lucky Find to good to let it pass by...

On a recent motorhome trip to Wellington any vintage fountain pen finds were almost non-existent until I picked up this Parker Duofold Centennial 'Orange' MKI fountain pen and box from a Wellington Antique & Collectables dealer for the sum of NZ$90 which equates to around US$55.

With a date code of 0 (1990), this pen could very well be one of the initial 1,000 unnumbered that were offered in the Cherrywood box.

Nice find. I've picked up a few modern DF collections the last couple years, but no orange to be seen.
