I picked up a couple of interesting pens lately, so I'll just consolidate them into one post.

First off, this Parker Vacuum Filler. It came off ebay and the original pictures weren't great, but I was pretty sure it was a Ripley. As it turned out, it was.

Next up, a pair of green shadow wave Vacumatic juniors.

Last, a couple of nicer Sheaffers. An OS Red-Veined balance, a wide band black balance, and a lever filling Crest.

Congratulations on the Ripley find!  If you have any interest in letting it go, I might have interest in giving it a new home.

...Just curious, but what is a Ripley?
(always interested in learning about the wide world of vacs)

Brian: Thanks! I think the Ripley is staying with me for the foreseeable future, but I'll keep your offer in mind.

Christof: Someone a bit better versed in Vacs can step in here, but the Ripley's were a short lived variant of Vacuum Filler(although some Vacumatics were also produced) that featured transparent blue bands in the cap and a transparent barrel rather than the opaque burgundy and black more normally seen in those pens. They can be picked out pretty easily because they have black blind caps and sections, rather than the striped sections you would usually see.
