On a recent trip to Europe I managed to pick up a few pens.

1 Belmond from Belgium (via e-bay). It looks to me like it was manufactured by Unique for Belmond, although it has a Belmond nib. The barrel is stamped 'Belmond' with no country of origin.

2. Pelikan? Not up on Pelikans but it is a post war, pre reunion pen with a gold plated nib (underside only now) and plastic seals.

3. Parix. Know nothing about this pen other than it is typically germanic 1930's pen with cork seals. The nib just has PARIX 14Kt. on it and there are three interlocking rings on the top of the cap.

4. 1950/60s Wearever with a hooded nib, bought when I was disparing of finding any pens in Denmark when.....

5. 1950s? Sheffield button filler

6. 1948-51 Parker Popular AF and

7 & 8. two Olsen Parker Duofold button fillers all came along together. Finally a

9. post 1903 Waterman's 12 1/2S safety pen was found languishing in an antik shop. The nib and feed mechanism are missing but for 20Kr it was worth saving, even if only for parts.

I also got what looks like a (nearly) new grey Liberty school pen but have run out of Kbs to upload!

Nice Finds Peterg!

I did well at the D.C. Show; the PCA sales was a bonanza of goodies in bag lots, and good prices. See photos of what I picked up. Big tags are some sort of inventory tag for the PCA sale which I have since removed; the last tray with the colored tape were from bins that were bulk purchase opportunities and good prices based on the color of the tape used.

Also a hard to find minty condition Accutron Astronaut in steel; required servicing which I performed but the dial/hands are in mint condition. Truly a piece of history in the watch world and used for instruments aboard the Gemini missions and earlier Apollo missions.  Picture of the watch has some glare from the bench lamp on the plastic crystal giving it a funny hatched pattern.

All in all, a great show and worth going to again soon!

Hi Greg
The third pen from the right in the third lot, is this a Parker Vacumatic Major DJ with split arrow clip? If so, this would be what I am looking for...
Have a look at here:

Yes, that is a Vacumatic Major; I will have it at the S.F. Show!

Greg, can you post a better picture of that Vacumatic?  I think it might be a Slender Maxima or so-called "Sub-Maxima" based on the cap band.

Even better!
What I am looking for is a DJ Vacumatic with proportions close to the P"51".
Important is only the split arrow clip.

Christof, which of these are you considering the "split arrow" clip?

Brian
I think that the two on the right are called split arrow, didn't they?
Most of them are coming with a bliu diamond, but few without.
Thanks for your help and education.
For my museum project, this clip is important because I want to show similarities in design between the Vacumatics and the P"51".

The one in the middle is called the split arrow clip.  The one on the right is usually just called the Blue Diamond clip.  The major you're looking for should have a Blue Diamond clip.  If it has the middle style clip, it is wrong.

Ok, ok, ok... you got me there.  Shouldn't you be paying attention to the SF Pen Show instead of harassing me with your correctness?

In the future, let's just assume that everything Parker made in Canada is "wrong" LOL. (Sorry, Pearce)

Thanks for the clarification to Brian and David.
Of course you are right. The clip (pen) I was looking for should have a blue diamond clip.
