My first trip to the "new" San Francisco Pen Show, now in its second year.  Well run. Great turnout. I sold well.  Though I wasn't in the hunt for oodles of pens for website stock (I'm still catching up on website updates), I did hope to bring home a modest pile of fun stuff. I succeeded.  Nearly every one below offers something interesting (yes, that is a bit subjective) within its niche. Kudos if you recognize all.

Nice!

Related, I saw your picture of that 45 when you posted it on Facebook, it reminded me to bid on something that I've been meaning to for a while. The seller kept relisting it, I kept forgetting, and it always got no bids. I ended up winning it this time, I'm going to have something that looks VERY interesting to share at the end of the week. So, thanks!

I don't recognize the pencil beside the Skylines.  What is it?

David,

It was a great show/party. Thank you for making the journey West.

Nice try, buying me a drink with a free drink ticket! You still owe me one:))))

Dallas or Columbus?

Hi Brian,

It's part of the sub-Doric late-ish 1930s cluster. Not sure off hand of (or "if") specific model name. Not a Pacemaker or Airlite. Plastic evokes the Moore pinstriped "A" series but I must compare to see if identical.  Pens of this sort are few and far between and iirc are standard diameter.  One day I shall acquire a matching pen.

There was a copper pen (no nib) on ebay recently, I was unfortunately the underbidder.

There is some exceptional booty there!

I found one great piece; a Sheaffer's 14k ball point, with the 14k cap in a set of 14k Sheaffer's pen and pencil;  Quite a find! I have been told not to scrap it by higher powers!  I won't, he he!

The solid gold Sheaffer bp Stratowriter indeed is uncommon. A great find.

Sure great seeing you there as well, and we were somewhat "table" mates to boot (at least on the same row :))

Hi David, it was great to see you at the show this year! I do hope you'll be returning regularly.

Nice Sheaffer loaner pen there! And of course the red Parker depression era set (which I saw in person, or "in pen" as the case may be).

FYI, Paul has been returned... only minor damage.

I'm jealous he had chance to vacation with a pen friend in sunny California for a few days after the show. Maybe next year I'll loiter a bit.

Always welcome in So. Cal. where the sun shines an average of 330 days a year; palm trees and coconut drinks await!
