Watched this for a second time recently and noticed that near the beginning, Control (John Hurt) initiials a report using a black English Duofold (story takes place in 1973). Later, George Smiley (Gary Oldman) is sitting at a desk and in a pencil basket in front of him are 2 Jotters (red and light blue IIRC).
