German piston filling pens are not a (usual) interest of mine, but this particular lot caught my eye.  I was mainly after the Waterman and Pelikan.    The Osmia looked interesting, and I thought I recognized a 344 in the package as well.

The Pelikan 100N had a nib with tipping material missing (and a messed up piston), the Osmia has a broken piston.  The 252 works well, as does the 344-G.  I reaffirmed that I really don't like the Phileas series of pens.

I was pleasantly surprised when the lot arrived, in that there was a Montblanc 304 included.  I've never handled a safety montblanc, and this one is really quite nice.  It reminds me of vintage Waterman safeties.  Overall, I know it is quite worn, but I think its the one 'keeper' pen in the lot.
