I have found this little gem in Porta Portese, Rome's biggest flea market, held every Sunday.

It is in great shape, except for a few shallow scratches in the barrel and a cracked nib.

The barrel is engraved: "SOENNECKEN Pony" and the nib bears an "SO" mark.
I'd be thankful if anyone could shed some light on this Soennecken model as I have never heard anything about the Pony.

Never heard of a Pony but the ink view window is interesting and I like the way the stripes go all the way down the section. Cool pen. Soennecken is a decent German pen.

Here's another like it in red stripes: https://www.etsy.com...QHRYaAoj78P8HAQ

That listing says it was made 1950s

Thanks. The pen in that ad is exactly like mine (except for better trim and for the color)
