I've come across a strange, at least to my inexperienced eyes, duofold, fully covered in gold.

Was it a jeweler job or did it come from a Parker factory?

While I'm not enough of an expert to SAY anything definitively, from an observational standpoint:

- the clip imprint makes me think earlier Duofold (30s)

- the nib imprint makes me think later Duofold (40s)

- the duofold-style cap with the band on the edge makes me think Big Red ballpoint/felt tip (70s)

- I have an example of the last one but there isn't an imprint of any kind

European overlay. Possibly Parker sanctioned though not factory,  via regional jeweler. 1920s-1930s. Interesting and pretty pen. The "11" feedback is bit of a concern.

Agree with David. It's an odd mix, with the feed and section being streamlined, yet the cap washer being flattop.

What's intriguing is the imprint on the side of the cap. The "Parker" seems to be the same font as the earlier pens from the factory.

I go with Jo, the pen is 1920's flat top, the feed (what can be seen) and section look streamline while the nib is 1940's NS Duofold (could easily be a replacement though).
