G'day all  Long time no swing by...

I have recently purchased two inkwells.  Much like my fountain pen purchases, I have found that both are not marked by the maker - OR - I just don't know what I'm looking for.

They are as follows:

This one is very heavy (2.08 pounds) with a brass hinge and blown lid.  My gut feeling has been that it is an 1880'ish Baccarat inkwell.

To that end, I attended at the local Library and looked into a book about Inkwells and their collecting and found this one, almost identical, bar the shape of the lid and it not having a brass hinge.

The second one is a little smaller, and a little lighter.  A little more ornate.

If anyone can confirm, suggest, or identify either, I would be greatly pleased.

Happy New Year to all and your families.
