Attached is a photo of my Magna Carta, custom fountain pen.  The model/collection is called Cambridge.  I do not think this exact style is currently available for purchase, but indeed other, similar Cambridge styles can be ordered from your country's Magna Carta Distributor.  My reviews typically do not include commercial info.  As pen collectors we are concerned with factors such as product performance and other, specific characteristics, as well as price. When I am making a decision regarding a pen purchase, another consideration is the Company's reputation, business principles, and history.Magna Carta has been a family-run business since its inception, and continues as such to this very day. Years ago the grandfather started pen making, his son took over management at a later time, and then the Founder's grandsons followed. The oldest grandson is in charge of the Company, and he is personally involved in all aspects of production/manufacturing. Attention to detail is obvious, and every Magna Carta pen is created one-at-a-time, by hand. The business is based in India.  I must admit I have become enthusiastic about Magna Carta--and for good reasons.

The fit and finish and overall construction is flawless. The cap and barrel threading is perfect--there is no binding. Speaking of cap removal and replacement....the number of revolutions is ideal...enough to ensure a secure closure, yet not too many to cause a delay when using the pen. Although you can post the cap, for this particular Magna Carta model it's best not to post. The 6mm-Bock-steel nib, and feeder, perform as we would want--no skipping, consistent, unobstructed ink flow, and smooth. The grip section is comfortable to hold, as is the overall pen. The weight is substantial but not too heavy.  This is the only fountain pen with my signature, thus I call it the signature pen smile emoticon

. One final thought to share....Magna Carta pens are very reasonably priced, especially when compared to other premium pens. Pure writing pleasure. This one is exceptionally gorgeous...that description is from my wife and I concur!
