This morning I decided to try my luck at an estate sale and came away with 6 pens that were in a bag marked $5. I was warned that they were low quality and that they were priced accordingly. I must disagree! In addition to the 2 Sheaffer school pens, 1 Wearever, and 1 Eversharp Skyline were these 2 pens:
I believe that the Parker 51 is Yellowstone (Mustard) in color. The blind cap is in rough shape and I will need to find a replacement. Any suggestions on where to find one? I know next to nothing about Esterbrooks. I believe that this model is a Visumaster which seems to be a bit uncommon. It is in remarkably good shape. The discoloration on the section and near the end of the barrel is dried ink which I have since removed. If it is something special I think I'll wait and have it professionally restored the rest of the way. I'm delighted to have finally found some interesting pens after attending so many estate sales over the years without much luck.
