Unlike all of the pen boards, this is local – you get to see the people posting face-to-face at our meetings….

III. HULA dancing… and parking.
I received the following information from Bob Koehler, who is the Foster City Rec Center manager:
There is going to be a special event out in the park that day, so parking will be more challenging than a typical Saturday. You should still be OK, but keep in mind that there is overflow parking at both the Library and City Hall which are right across the street if necessary.
The special event is the annual Polynesian Festival: (From the Foster City Rec web site)
Bring the 'ohana (family) and celebrate the annual Polynesian Festival. You'll see Polynesian dance performances, eat delicious food, shop the interesting craft booths, and even take an outrigger canoe ride. Free

If anyone feels motivated, they can organize a hula contest for our meeting. Bring your own grass skirt.
Your club secretary (me) will not be participating.
Maybe of more interest, if you have friends or family members with no interest in pens, they can have fun for free while you’re at the meeting spending money.
