Recognizing modern pens often are ridiculously hefty compared to old pens, the Giant makes an even bigger impression juxtaposed with a large modern MB 149.

Who bought and used the Black Giant Parkers? Were they meant for lawyers, doctors, or baseball players? (Note: Hillerich and Bradsby told Ted Williams that they made a 54 ounce bat for Babe Ruth. Was this the fountain pen equivalent?)

I don't know if this will answer your question, but here's a 1920 advertisement for the BG.
3 1/2 tsp that's 22 1/2 cc a bit over 2/3 oz. Huge!
