Received today this Wahl Tempoint. I know the ingredients are connected as Wahl purchased Boston, but I'm not sure that actual pens contained them:

1. Wahl Tempoint barrel imprint. GF Lever with Nov 24 14 imprint. 72 imprint on barrels bottom

2. Boston no. 2 nib

3. WHH German Silver roller clip

Could this combination be legit or is it a Frankenpen?Attached File  DSC_1352.JPG   59KB   2 downloadsAttached File  DSC_1354.JPG   165.37KB   2 downloadsAttached File  DSC_1362.JPG   255.98KB   1 downloads

Looks like a very early model, assembled from Boston stock shortly after Wahl takeover. The Roller Clip design was licensed, so early Boston pens would have one just like on this pen. And once Wahl took over Boston Fountain Pen Co, they didn't waste parts and materials so they assembled pens from the old Boston parts and slapped the TEMPOINT imprint on the barrels. Overall, looks legit to me.
