I have finally put together a mini collection of the Parker 51 Aerometric MKI colours and I think I have captured the difference in the darker colours quite well.  To complete the collection will be the Insignia/Signet and Flighter and add a full size Forest Green.

Thanks to Tom Heath who was able to source for me a very nice first year 1948 hard to find 'Plum.

Nice collection! For the sake of the thread at least, here is a 1948 full-size Aero 51 set in Forest Green.

I second the hat tip to Tom Heath who has helped me score a number of nice items as well.

A very nice set Jon.    Tom has now found me a mint Forest Green which will be coming to me later on.  Eliminates the risk of uncertainty of buying through auction on these less common colours.

Is that a demonstrator or something else?

Demonstrator. Have seen both clear connector and black connector versions. One recently sold on eBay, sadly it had a cracked barrel but otherwise it was a nice example.

Not really a "color," but one could throw the half-demonstrators (clear shell and sold to the public) in as well if you want to make it almost impossible to assemble a complete collection.  ;-)

Thank you for the nice photo of a nice set of pens.
