Is this a Parker?

I hope it's OK to post this here. If it's out-of-bounds, I apologize and ask that the moderator remove.

 

I work at a university, and one of my friends here specializes in Willa Cather, an American writer from roughly the first half of the 20th Century. Anyway, he asked me if I could ID the pen she can be seen using in several photographs from the first part of the 1920s. I quickly discovered that my eye just isn't that discerning--most BHR pens look pretty similar to me. Something about it looks Parker-ish, though, so I thought I would see if any you Parker specialists could either confirm or (more likely) shoot down that idea. Thanks!

To me, this looks rather like a Waterman's. Could be a 52 1/2.
But I could be wrong.

It's not a Parker, as it has a clip type that Parker didn't use on this style of pen.
