Hi again, some time ago I asked about this Pen sheafer,s  Flat Top 5-30 and you gave me accurate information about the 5-30 meaning. Now I have restored the Pen and it is a wonderful, writes like the first day, magnificent, and the IMPRINT in the barrel is perfect and here is born a new incognita for me and so I ask Help:

Does anyone know what these data mean ?:
I think the first data should be the feha of Sheaffer's initial patent, but what model? The second line has me totally disconcerted:
I reproduce what appears in the Barrel

PAT.AUG.25.08. ¿?
DEC.10.12 - JAN.27 - OCT.20 - NOV.24.14 (what do all these dates mean ????)

Thanks in advance to everyone and who can help me decipher this enigma for me

ps/ I will try to put the photo in the Gallery

You'd think I'd know that reflexively, though I don't. Perhaps $5 cost and 30 year nib warranty. The dates are various patents that contributed to the pens existence.

A quote from Wooten long ago:

5-30's (3-25's and 7-30's) are throwbacks to limited gaurantees on radite flattops. $5 pen with a 30 year gaurantee. This was dropped in the early 30's for 3's, 5's and 7's which relate to size and are priced accordingly.

Thanks to everyone, yes, 5-30 means price and years of warranty, and dates seem to be patent dates, lever, lever mechanism, mechanism structure, etc.

Annex some photos that may be coincident with the case, not sure but very interesting
Thanks again to everyone
