Can anyone describe the differences in the Omas Ogvi A.M. 87  and the Amerigo Vespucci pens?

I'd bet it is only the stain/type of wood & the engraved "Amerigo Vespucci" name & year on the barrel. Both beautiful pens.

Do you know what "AM 87" represented? I'm curious.

I have no idea on the AM 87,  From all I see they look identical, just trying to find any difference other than marking. I have an AM87 pen and am trying to match a ballpoint to it.  From what I see it seems as either will match  ok.

AM stands for Angelo Malaguti, Armando Simoni’s son-in-law, who died in 1987.
The AM87 series was a tribute made by Gianluca Malaguti (Owner of Omas around eariler 90’s) to his father.
I know just this.
Cheers.
Luciano.
