Mostly found in slender clip pen and as short slender ring-top, both with #2 nib, the Console pattern ("bells") Wahl is quite uncommonly found in the larger #4 size.


I've owned- indeed spotted altogether- just two pens in ten years, though I don't look all that hard. Yes, the mottled HR section is catalogue correct. One of the better 1920's Wahl metal pens no doubt.

Picked up this one couple months ago. Cleaner, actually, than the one still in my collection, I couldn't turn Richard down when he asked to grab it over dinner at Nashua. Ah well, easy come easy go.

Still, I managed to shoot it before it went to its new home.
