Rare Moore Combo pen! Color?

31 March 2014 - 12:41 AM

I've held onto this pen for some time, and it just doesn't fit into the collection anymore.

It's a large Moore Pen/Pencil Combination. I have no idea what the color on this piece is called. I've only seen this color once before on an ebay auction but it was for a regular fountain pen. Moore Combos are extremely difficult to come across!!

Condition: There is a name on the barrel, however, because of the mix of colors it is extremely difficult to notice. Also there is a little ding on the gold plating of the pencil cone. No chips/cracks or any serious problems with the pen. The nib is flexible and in good shape!

I'm asking $225, already including shipping (U.S. Addresses Only).

Feel free to drop me a message if you are interested or have any questions!

Trust me it will be a while before this color pen/pencil combo pops up again!

Been a while!

27 March 2014 - 05:04 PM

It's been a while since I've shared anything my Father & I have picked up. College & work take up all my time now-a-days!

Anyways, here are a couple things we picked up on the bay  B)

The Mandarin Sheaffers were my first set of the sort, love that color! The 51 was a very lucky buy it now, smooth silver cap.

Anyone have any information on the Holy Water pen? I know nothing about that and I just went out on a limb when  I purchased it, any help would be appreciated!

#8 Conklin

First off, I love the new site! Even tho I'm a bit late  :P College and work take up all my time now-a-days!

Been looking for a long, long time for this one, a Conklin size "S8". It's longer than the #75 and the nib is substantially larger than the number 7 as well.

Sheaffer Demo?

02 September 2013 - 09:16 PM

Is this a true Demonstrator sheaffer? I've never owned one until now so I'm not really sure what to go by. It seems to be right..Posted Image

-I'm not really sure what the pattern on the first waterman is called, so please any advice there would be appreciated.
-The next one is an early Parker with a button filling system, however the pen unscrews at the section like an eyedropper would. I assume this was during the transition, a really neat pen!
-Sheaffer Oversized Carmine Balance (First one!)
-Conklin Vest Pocked Filigree
-Nozac and Nozac desk pens
-Conklin RHR Duragraph

Really hope to make it over to the Washington show next year, from what I can see there is lots to find there!
