Hello Everyone,

I originate from Southern England but live in a beautiful part of Scotland. I've used fountain pens since the early 1960's but have only been a serious collector over the last ten years or so. Collecting, I suppose, assumes a degree of purpose and organisation whereas my approach tends to be based on what appeals at the time resulting in a fairly eclectic mix of pens, most of which are vintage.

I have a particular liking for German piston fillers including some of the lesser known brands (Geha, Luxor, Mercedes etc.) but also have a liking for workhorse, Newhaven (Sussex) built Parker Duofolds and Mabie & Todd Swans of which I have several. 

It is good to find a forum where there is so much interesting information and proper "grown-up" debate. I very much look forward to future visits.
