The carmine pen is having a WD at an interesting positon which is normally for military models, I have put a military pen to compare.
I have never seen WD at this position besides military models. It seems to me that this cap is left over material after Sheaffer obsoleted the military models, so instead of miltary clip, it mounted with normal clip. Any comment ?

Reverse Trim After-war Triumph ?
18 August 2013 - 04:21 PM
War-time 1250 Triumph had Black reverse trim model in both full size and Tuckaway but so far I have not seen any reverse trim in after-war models.
Any idea on after-war Black color reverse trim Valiant (1250) or Stateman (1000) ? Was Sheaffer dropped the reverse trim after war but re-introduced in 50s for Snorkels ?

Oriental Mosaic Pens
27 June 2013 - 10:20 AM
Recently when tidy up my collection of Sheaffer metal pens, I found that I have been accumulated several Sheaffer Oriental Mosaic pens.
I did a small study to those pens in my collection, the pen was sold at $9.00 together with a pencil @ $6.00 made a pen/pencil set @$15. I also notice 2 designs, similar to other Sheaffer overlay pens, some are metal overlay with BHR section while the other are all metal.
Very little info for these interesting small pens, so far I have seen it in the Fischler and Schneider's book, also in 1928 Sheaffer catalog (but not in 1926, does it mean these pens were available sometimes after 1926 ?) I own an advertisement of Sheaffer Oriental Mosaic but it does not show any timing info...
Any Oriental Mosaic info share ?
