Does the cap from the Oversize or the cap from the Maxima fit the barrel threads of the red pen?

The Oversize cap on the burgundy pen is too large to pick up the threads.  

The Senior Maxima cap is close but not a perfect fit, only taking up on the last turn in.

With my latest acquisition a 1937 Canadian burgundy I now have 3 of the large Vacumatics, but what model is the burgundy?

Referring to the attached photo:

Bottom pen:  1937 USA Senior Maxima with aluminium speedline filler, streamline blind cap and streamline cap

Middle pen:  1936 Canadian Oversize with lock down filler, chunky blind cap and chunky cap

Top pen:  1937 Canadian ??? with a black section, lock down filler, chunky blind cap and streamline cap.   

To me it appears the burgundy could be a transition model with the blind cap from the Oversize model and the streamline cap from the Maxima model.  

If anyone can enlighten me as to what the burgundy model actually is would be appreciated?

I won the burgundy on our local auction site for US$ equivalent of $88 and has a flexible W nib, so a good win for me.    It is a bit of a rarity as in 10 years I have only seen two of these Oversize Vacumatics come up for auction in NZ and now I have both.
