I'd be most interested if you come across any Richard or Morges pens in your travels Christof

Yes, Richard Morges can be found here in CH. These are not uncommon pens. Richard was a stationery shop at Morges in the French part of CH. I am not convinced that they produced own pens. I rather think they sold pens only but under their own name. But this belongs to a seperate thread...

Thanks but for the moment I am concentrating on my Duofolds.

The Plum was a find in the wild. Believe it or not, but in Switzerland can be found Plums in thrift shops! Ha!!

#43542 Questions to Conklin Endura

Posted by Christof Z on 14 August 2016 - 06:38 PM in WAHL, WATERMAN and CONKLIN (USA "Big Five")

The Endura got a new ink sac and writes like this:

I was told that flexible Endura nibs are quite uncommon at least.

Your comments?

#43528 Is this a Parker?

Posted by Christof Z on 05 August 2016 - 07:32 PM in PARKER: (USA "Big Five")

To me, this looks rather like a Waterman's. Could be a 52 1/2.
But I could be wrong.

#43507 Questions to Conklin Endura

Posted by Christof Z on 29 July 2016 - 04:20 AM in WAHL, WATERMAN and CONKLIN (USA "Big Five")

Hi all
Recently, I found this Conklin Endura in a thrift shop. It's 13.5cm caped.

28497646222_270897ea8b_b.jpg

What's the correct term for this size, is it OS or Senior? I found both on the internet. (It is not a long cap version).

Is it common that the pen is lacking any imprints? Only the nib says Conklin Endura. It's not a crescent nib. It's a huge heart hole nib which is extremely flexible, maybe a wet noodle.

And could the manufacturing date of 1926 be correct?

Thanks for your help?

Christof
