About Fountain Pens and Universities

It was thirty years ago today... (wow...). I was aproved in entrance examinations (here in Brazil we pass by a huge set of tests) to the best University here. In my luggage, a pen which serves me during twelve years before, a FABER ESTUDANTE (made in Brazil... estudante is the portuguese word for student, a medium sized piston filler...).

During the first year, the "old" mate became to leak on the ink level window. The death of my old and good mate was very sad. A pen called "ESTUDANTE", died in an university "campus". It was a holly object and need to rest in a holly field.

I dig a little hole near by a Library and buryed it...

It was three years ago today... My son was aproved in entrance examinations to the same school and the same career... In a lucky strike, I found a mint FABER ESTUDANTE (this one is a demonstrator...) and gave to him. Some facts need to be familiar traditions ;-)))
