I've been restoring fountain pens for many years and wonder if others have found Skyline feeds and nibs to be very wet (generally). Anyone ever done anything with the heavily grooved Skyline feeds to slow the ink flow? I just restored one and the nib is fabulous, but it is pretty much a medium and writes like a bold. Ink flow is uniform and the nib does not overload with ink, and the sac is the right size. Could just be me and my luck with Skylines that the ink flow is greater than with other pens.
