Another pic of Coolidge using a dip pen made from a piece of the broken yoke of the Liberty Bell. The pen was owned by the former president, Warren Harding.

Further research found a NYT article stating that Esterbrook and two companies owned by Ferber were merged in 1964.

A recent purchase from the Bay. One Esterbrook and a FERBER pen. I am looking for info on the Ferber pen. I have found references to the VuWriter ball point by Ferber but have found nothing on the fountain pen. Wondering if anyone here may have some clues to the Ferber FP. The seller said it was made by Esterbrook, and the pens could be twins except for the imprint on the clip. There is reference to a law suit between Ferber and Esterbrook but that doesnt tell me much about the relationship. Thanks for any clues.
