A peek at issue 1.1 of Paul's Fountain Pen Journal. I'm happy to be a contributing editor. First issue printed about 2 months after first chat about creating the magazine. In mailboxes now in the USA
how did that go from concept to print so fast?

A very experienced editor who has a 20 year history in pendom-related written projects

The next issue will be four pages longer, though with advertisers lining up (I don't know why... but Paul seems good at the networking thing ) some of those pages will be for ads.

yeah, I'm ready for the next issue as well. That only sorta held us over for a bit. I think the pen collecting community is starved for a vintage pen publication.

There will be some good articles on old pens in the next issue.
