Hullo,

I recently acquired this pretty Waterman's Pen.  The barrel states that it was "Made in the United States of America" and the Ideal globe is stamped into the top of the clip and of course on the barrel.  It measures almost exactly 12cm long.

There is no model number; can some kind person tell me what it is and how old?

Thanks

Cob

Cob, hi there.  David Nishimura has a Canadian made Waterman Junior with a similar riveted clip to your pen. He has it dated to 1940.  www.vintagepens.com look under Plastic Waterrman pens in his catalogue.  Pretty pen - nice!!!!!

Thanks for the lead; so now I know mine is a Junior (I should have guessed by the size!), but it does not say Junior on the nib (I had another Junior which does), and the clip is slightly different from the one on Vintage Pens - mine is not riveted at the top  - it's a sort of washer clip with metal button/screw.

All the best

Cob
