Lucky Streak...

As I'm sure many of you know, trolling the local antique malls can be a hit-or-miss affair but sometimes you find yourself in the right place at the right time to reap the benefits of positive pen karma. The pens below were all found on my regular rounds in Northern California this summer.

I think David would be interested in the Shadow Wave. The single jewel with Jeweler's band is a band of an oddity. Very cool and nice finds.

Thanks for the comments. Here is a closer photo. The Shadow Wave Deb is dated 2Q 1942. I haven't disassembled it yet to check the date code on the nib. The solid black plastic plunger strikes me as unusual, but then again, I'm used to handling the translucent variety found on standard 3rd gen Vacs. Is this a common characteristic of Debs?        

As a bonus I slipped its star-clipped tray-mate into the shot...

The black plunger turns up, I think it's just a material variation. The date code on the shadow wave is very interesting and it's a very neat pen. I've included a link to a relevant thread.

Great info. Thanks! Didn't realize this little Deb was such a celebrity. 

The cap jewel is missing. Is plain black the appropriate replacement?
