SOLD to A, thanks fpboard!
I'm selling this Montblanc 214 in coral to fund some more pen purchases.
It has a nice semi-flex nib (fine - broad) which gives good line variation but seems a little toothy to me. I would classify this pen as user-grade for a couple of reasons:
1) There is some discoloration to the barrel - you can see the line in one of the photos.
2) The cap seems off-kilter to me - I attempted to show this in a photo as well. The clip still works fine.
3) Slightly toothy nib
4) The button filler seems stiff. It still draws ink just fine, and I bought it as restored, but I have other button fillers that are easier to use. Maybe the pressure bar is really stiff?
5) General wear and slight brassing to the trim.
The price for this pen is $200 (this includes priority shipping and insurance in the continental US via the USPS). I'm mainly staying away from trades for this one, unless you have the following:
Parker "51" double jeweled pen in dove gray or blue cedar
Platinum "Platinum" sterling silver pen or the Ag-Au pen.
Let me know if you have any questions or would like to purchase the pen by PM'ing me or emailing me at joshua.denby@gmail.com - thanks!
