Got an email from Pelikan about new, cartridge-fill pens (P200, gold trim; P205, silver). Sounds kinda like they will sell nib units separately and there will be Edelstein cartridges. I like my piston-fill Pelikan, but I'm leaning more toward cartridges in my everyday pens. They also revealed the Edelstein ink for the year-garnet. I think I have a new pen and ink in my future! :D

I don't recall a prior cartridge fill Pelikan. Sounds interesting.  Do share pics when able.

David, I have a cartridge fill Pelikan-the Technix, and the Epoch and Pura are cartridge fill as well.

They sound like a good option for a carry-around daily writer.

Oh, they picked another gemstone that comes in many colors as a name for an ink that comes in one color. They did that wrong with tourmaline (turmaline) previously.

I wish they would bring back the previous generation of Pelikanos. They were almost jewel toned.

I can't wait for those cartridges and I'll have to pick up a bottle of garnet. Need some more amber as well. I like that color and sepia from Pilot. I have a cheap Parker that amber works well in. I usually prefer xf/f but you need a little broader nib for the amber or it doesn't lay down enough ink.

Fahrney's now has the cartridge pens listed as well as the Garnet bottle ink and the cartridges. I'll have to get an order in soon. ^_^
