I can't post photos

I can't post photos, I'm not even sure where to ask. When I try to post a pic it says the file is too big. This doesn't matter whether I choose existing or take a new pic. I have looked every where I can find and nothing. The last thing I found was hosting photos with the gallery tab. That didn't help me. I'm not even sure that being able to post pics would do any good because I have the sense that new pens are frowned upon on this forum. I just want to enjoy the forum and post pics. I don't want to have to jump through hoops and wonder if I'm gonna get chewed out for asking the wrong question in the wrong place
Have to comment in detail later (swamped), but the GALLERY tab at top of page offers huge hosting. Generally good to limit pics to about 1500 pixels wide.

You never get chewed up asking questions and some modern pens are really worth seeing. I love pens from the 20's and 30's but I also like a hugh array of modern pens. Just bought a new Mont Blanc. I've also got new Pelikans (I prefer my vintage) and a new Yard o Led Viceroy Grand Victorian.
Put all your pics in the gallery in your own folder in members gallery. You can then link them to any post using the BCC code. I have explained in detail how to do this. Look at new member posts.
David is always busy, he's a doctor and works long shifts and travels around a lot going to pen shows.
If you need any advice on anything pen or board related there is usually someone who will answer (but not always)
If you give it a chance I'm sure you will enjoy the forum just takes a bit of getting used to. You never know you may get converted to vintage. My tastes have definitely changed since joining this board.
