In the first episode, President Grant is shown signing documents with a fountain pen. Then, circa 1869-73, scenes of American Indians with Model 94 Winchesters keep popping up (they could have been Model 73's, but I'd have to see it again). And the James Gang robbed their first bank in 1866 with the 1873 Colt Single Action. Shame, shame on you AMC, I won't be watching more.

I watched one of Bill O'Riley's biographies. It was about James Butler Hickok. He said his name was William. Wild Bill wore holsters and drew his guns "calvary" style: with the handles facing forward and by pulling the right one out with his right hand and swinging it under his arm instead of reaching across and pulling the left one out from his sash, not holster. I never watched another O'Riley show or read any of his books again.
