Odd Parker 51 date code?

I recently bought a Parker 51 with a date stamp on the barrel that is T7 with two dots below the T7.  The pen is single jewel, rounded end, Cordovan Brown, Lustraloy Cap and Chrome clip, with a plastic vac filler thingy.

 

Any help with "T" in the date would be apricated.

US parts assembled in Toronto in 1947.  IIRC, Ernesto Soler covered this in a Pennant article a few years back.

There seem to be different views on the meaning of the "T" imprint. Made in Toronto is the oldest one but possibly not correct, see this interesting (though short) discussion:
