  the  barrels  look  thin  woodgrain   hard  rubber 

   my daughter  already  bent the ear on   one  lever 

   the  pens  are  pretty slim   too

    and  sections no wiggle 

so i  know  to go  slow   OR   let someone  who has the touch  do these

  celluloid   --maybe     --thin woodgrain   forgetaboudit  !!!!!!!!!

its hard to find  a pen  forum where i  fit  as a maker  of   metal  pen cases   and ephemera -having  kept up  my hand primarily fabricating earrings

 the FPN   is really big   --however  most of the pen  makers  are   doing lathe  work with kits

  i have been  taking about a  10+  year break  from pens   --getting into trombones 

they share  an enthausiastic  following  and   a  niche  market  of players[users]  and collectors
