New Edison

04 January 2014 - 05:57 AM

Hello everyone, and Happy New Year!

I just picked up a new Edison Collier in the silver marble color. Steel fine nib. This is a big pen that fits my hand surprisingly well. I don't post any of my pens so its inability to post means nothing to me. The nib was a little too toothy, so a bit of smoothing made this a pen that I think I will enjoy! It replaces a Bexley Corona as my everyday carry that earned a well deserved rest.

Hello, everyone.

I'm happy to join the FPnuts. I'm relatively new to fountain pens, but I find that I can't let go of the novelty of writing with a fountain pen. I'm 62 and learned to use one in grammar school, but was such a horrible student that I wrote a line only when threatened. Now? I use my Aurora 88 every day.

I'm waiting on a new Edison Collier in silver marble to complement my other pens. Just a few, but growing. My wife and I will frequent antique and consignment shops looking for fountain pens!

So, thanks for the opportunity to participate, and take care.
