Hi all,

I have been looking for a Rotring 600 for a while. Nothing fancy, no special colour, just something to be used.

I have seen one some time ago, and the owner let me write a few words with it. Though quite heavy I liked it a lot, even for just the two or three words I have written.

As it had been quite scarce locally, I have browsed eBay a few times. I must have skipped something important, as prices range from USD 40.- to over USD 200.- What should I look for? What's the main difference between "old-style" and whatever is called the rest of them? Is there a nice website about this pen? I have googled quite a bit, but I have got zillions of results, most of them useless for the information I am looking for.

Do you want a black body, or silver colored body? What nib size, and is it important if it has a steel or gold nib?
I have a few stashed away, and am not actively trying to sell, but I can look to see if I have what you want (providing it's near the top of a box)...
