Primer in Esterbrooks

My apologies for such a simple, and probably obvious, question about Esterbrook models. I've seen J, SJ, and LJ references. Could someone explain the specs or the differences in them? I have 2 that I purchased as J's but one is just a fraction longer than the other. I have a red and a rootbeer thus far. My parents have a green and a blue one that I am going to ask to have next time I visit. (they will happily let me have them)

Wahl has a medium-dark blue pen color that is called "lapis blue". They also have a blue called "lazulitic blue". IN my reference books, these two identified colors look the same. But are they?

I'm guessing the company would not be haphazard in referencing colors so please help me out!

Antique Storage Units

I have a small but growing collection of pens. I purchased a leather zipped case for them at the Phila Pen Show but then immediately starting thinking about other options. I love and collect antiques so I was thinking along the lines of using an antique spool (thread) cabinet which has shallow pull out drawers (normally 2 - 6 of them). These cabinets are usually made of oak or walnut. Does anyone use such a cabinet and if so, I'd love to see a photo of it. I'd put pen holder inserts into the drawers - guess they are felt or something similar.

I've read where a hole was drilled into some old Wahl stock to void the warranty prior to being sold. Where exactly were these holes drilled into the pen and do they detract from the pen itself? Is this a value killer or something acceptable on an otherwise nice pen?
