Meanwhile, the Onoto website remains in need of an update, and there have been no newsletters by David for over a year. Maybe they should focus more on the bird in hand. The one in the bush seems to be incapable of flight. Cheers from the colonies, and a Merry Christmas to all.

The FPB is being "trashed" on FPN re CS comments on this board. I suggested to them that the demise of CS had nothing to do with anything posted on FPB, but I doubt if that will be accepted as fact. The failure was the result of a poor business plan, and higher than usual QC problems.

Andy,
I'll show my ignorance, but what is WES? Thanks,

Andy/Deb,
Thanks for your welcome. Much appreciated. Re vintage CS pens, I have four. Two 55's and two 58's. All in very good condition and reliable writers. I don't consider, however, myself as a CS collector. Just have a couple of models that appeal to me, but none with the "collectable" finishes such as cracked ice, etc. I also have two Newhaven Parker Duofold AF pens, and one Newhaven "51". Would these be considered British as in the British pen forum?
