David Cooper sent an email saying that he and Alistair had left Onoto over a difference with the CEO over "the way forward". The Onoto web site shows several pens missing. Anyone know more?

What is th difference between a Doufold Mark II and a Mark III? I know of the differences between a Mark I and Mark II, but aside fron nib design and the insignia on the cap top of the newest pens, they look like a Mark II to me. Who decides when a pen gets a new designation.? I saw nothing on parker's website that mentions a Mark version on the current pens listed.Thanks. vi have a Mark II Duofold, and tkink highly on it. Any enlightenment would be appreciated.

I saw that a CS 100 vintage pen in very good condition sold for almost $700 today. Is that considered a "normal" price for this model?

Hello,
Do the pens produced in Newhaven count as British pens? I have two Duofold AF pens, and one "51" all made in Newhaven. They are solidly built pens with good nibs, and write well with no hard starts or skipping. Only solid colors (mine are black and dark green), but I like them. Apparently so does the Queen (51).

Hello to all,
Glad to become a member. I have been a member of FPN for a few years, and for the most part, have enjoyed the forums, reviews, etc. But the Conway Stewart forum doesn't take criticizm kindly, so I don't post anything there. Thanks for letting me become part of this group. I have a modest pen collection of 24, with all but 6 being vintage. I enjoy them all. Parker Newhavens, Conway Stewarts, Eversharp Skylines for vintage, and Pelikan Souverans, Onotos for modern.
