As far as I can see, there is no internal sniping service.

The key feature needed here is the ability to set the time of the bid.

Proxy bidding allows you to set the amount of the bid, but not the time. As soon as the bid is placed, it is public and anyone can figure it out by incrementally bidding against you.

I was a skeptic. Now I'm a believer.

 

I bid on an Omas pen - I was the high bidder but came under the reserve. Labeo sent me a note offering to meet my price. I bought the pen. Very easy, and very happy.

 

I know the seller from previous transactions - both on ebay and in person, and I have no concerns about the integrity of the transaction. I'm sure the pen will arrive in perfectly described condition.

 

As a big collector of Italian pens, I will definitely return to their board.

Was also trying American brands: parker, sheaffer, waterman, etc. More results for Euro brands: MB, pelican, aurora. Makes sense.
