Brass inkwell penstand c1855

This one I purchased today. Slightly lighter than the previous inkwell but only slightly... and about 2/3 the size. Brass hinge and ornate cap... again NO WIGGLE at all from hinge. 44

Baccarat inkwell book

This image was found today in a book at the local library. It is about inkwells and collecting them. Mine has a slightly different shaped top and a brass hinge, but very similar on all other counts. 43

Brass hinged inkwell

42 Purchased at very end of December 2015. Weighs 0.946 grams (2+ pounds) Brass hinge with absolutely NO GIVE or wobble. No markings at all.

Caldwells

A Caldwell's bottle with the remains of what appears to be a reddish or purple ink. Label very faded and worn.

Angus & Co.

A plain Angus & Co. bottle. Most Angus & Co. bottles seem to come from Melbourne, Australia.

Simpson's & Co

Simpson's & Co. bottle. It has a partial label in poor condition but lovely bottle.

Stephen's 1.5 Oz

The 'S' on the lid can just be seen under the paint on the screw cap. I am going to gently try and remove this to revea the original markings.

Caldwell's

Only half label, but with original cork stopper with ring.
