Hello all!

I recently found a rather mysterious Vacumatic. The date code is 1946, body is a long major and the nib is superflex. The nib is also bigger than others found on majors/long majors along with strange markings. I have included some pictures, I have asked a number of people and so far no one can solve the mystery. Hopefully some of you can piece it together :)

Cheers!

If the pen is Canadian, that likely solves the "why is a 1946 pen a 'long' Major".

Neat nib. Not sure yet I can integrate it claimed extra size (I'd need to examine more), but besides a "yes, it was waaaay custom, even to not receiving an arrow on it in 1946" one potential solution is that it is... early.   Vacumatic Junior nibs prior to late 1934 lacked the arrow and were marked just "Parker Vacumatic". Additionally, Canadian origin would result in the "14k" on it, that marking left off USA-made pens.  Still I agree the nib seems a bit big for hte 1933-1934 Vac Junior nibs.
